Stud Poker

In this version of Poker, you play against the dealer, not
against other players - and you start by putting your bet (the
'ante,) in the ante circle. Everyone, including the dealer, is
dealt five cards, face down - apart from the dealer, whose last
card is dealt face up to give you an idea of how good his hand
might be.
If you don't think your hand is as good as the dealer's, you can
'fold' and forfeit your bet. On the other hand, if you think your
hand might beat the dealer's you can raise the bet by putting your
cards face down on the table (in the 'raise box) and put twice your
initial bet on top of the cards.
When all the players have folded or raised their bets, the dealer
reveals their cards. If there is no Ace, King or better in the
hand, the dealer will say "no hand" and pay even money to all hands
still in play.
If the dealer has an Ace, King or better, they turn over all hands
in play. If the dealer's hand is better than yours, you lose all
bets. If yours is a 'tied hand', you keep your bet. If your hand is
better than the dealer's they'll pay you evens on your ante bet and
the following odds on your raise:
- Straight
Flush
(five consecutive cards of the same suit): 50 - 1 - Four of a
Kind
(four cards of the same denomination): 20 - 1 - Full House
(three of a kind and a pair): 8 - 1 - Flush
(all cards are of the same suit): 6 - 1 - Straight
(all cards run consecutively): 4 - 1 - Three of a
Kind
(three cards of the same denomination): 3 - 1 - Two Pairs
(two pairs of cards, different denominations): 2 - 1 - One pair or
less
(two cards of the same denomination, or unconnected cards of higher ranking than the dealers hand): even money
