Description: Johnny Vegas opens new Circus Casino Liverpool

The £6 million Circus Casino Liverpool in Queen's Square was officially launched by one of the country's best loved comedians, Johnny Vegas, on the evening of Saturday 8th December.

The brand new casino boasts state-of-the-art gaming tables and the latest developments in electronic gaming technology making it the country's first ‘cashless' casino. The Circus Casino Liverpool aims to provide the best in entertainment and the launch night was no exception with The Fire and Ice Theatre Company and live music from tribute band The Primettes. The evening was compered by Kevin Seed, the breakfast show presenter from City FM.

Johnny Vegas spun the "wheel of fortune" for guests to win prizes including a Caribbean cruise, tickets to see Barcelona Vs Real Madrid and a 42" LCD TV. The Caribbean cruise was won by Mr and Mrs White from Liverpool who were utterly delighted!

The launch party also gave guests the first opportunity to see the brand new 110 Brasserie which is already being tipped to become a premier addition to Liverpool's restaurant scene. It will be complemented by a brand new coffee bar - @latte, which will open from 7am each day.

The Circus Casino Liverpool will be the first in the Genting Stanley estate to offer a reward scheme for its customers. As they collect points they can claim rewards for a range of products at high street stores, food and drink at the casino or gaming chips to use for their favourite game or slot machines.

Over 125 staff will complete the Genting Stanley training programme to ensure that all the members experience the highest standard of service and customer care during their visit.
