French TV Chef Blazes A Trail at Maxims Southend

TOP French chef Jean-Christophe Novelli cooked up a feast for lucky customers as he launched a new partnership with Maxim's casino, in Westcliff, Southend.

The flamboyant chef prepared dishes from the new menu he created for the casino, as part of his deal with Genting Stanley, which owns the venue.

He said: "My dishes will be totally exclusive to their restaurants and I love the idea of taking my food to new audiences in a different leisure environment."

The partnership will see the creation of Novelli’s own signature menu to further strengthen the group’s premium restaurant offer. Novelli, who launched his first UK restaurant in 1996, will also deliver a tailored training programme for Genting Stanley’s top chefs at his own academy in Hertfordshire, as well as a series of money-can’t-buy experiences for casino members to win throughout 2008.
