With the public already voting to find the first ever Miss Genting Stoke, the casino is delighted to announce it’s also launching a Mr Genting Stoke contest.

Genting Casino Stoke is looking for five male contestants, aged 18-27, to take part in the event on Thursday 13April, which will include rounds in Charity, Sports, Talent, Mind and Popularity.

The winner from Stoke will go on to represent the casino in the Mr England final being held alongside Miss England at Resorts World Birmingham from 12– 14 July.

Nicky Clements, general manager at Genting Club Stoke commented: “We were delighted to announce the launch of the first ever Miss Genting Stoke contest and are even more excited at the addition of the Mr Genting Stoke competition.

“We look forward to welcoming lots of women and men from across the region to the casino in the hope of finding a star to represent our home city of Stoke in the Miss England and Mr England finals later this year.”

The Mr England competition is held every two years, with the winner becoming the country’s sole representative in the Mr World competition. And as reigning Mr England Chris Bramell explains, the competition really is open to anyone: “When I turned up to the Mr England final and saw all the lads I never thought I would even be in the top three, let alone win.

“They all had great potential and a few of them were real-life models so when they announced me as the winner I couldn’t believe it!”

Since winning the title, Chris, who is now a fully qualified personnel trainer, has travelled all over the world on Mr England duties, including two trips to Sri Lanka for appearances for the Mr England sponsors Envoy London.

He has also won a wardrobe full of stylish clothing from the brand, was a judge at Miss Gibraltar and more recently was invited as a special guest by the Mauritius Tourist Board for a 5 * holiday with his girlfriend, Brittany. There’s lots of charity work involved with being Mr England too, but it certainly has its perks!

So, if you think you have what it takes to become the next Mr Genting Stoke and even the next Mr England submit your entry now at

The reigning Miss Staffordshire, Paramedic Kim Jones will be crowning the winner of both Miss Genting Stoke and Mr Genting Stoke on Thursday 13 April. The competition will commence at 7.30pm at Genting Casino Stoke, Etruria Rd, Stoke-on-Trent ST1 5NH.
