How do I opt in or opt out of future marketing communications?

Do I need to sign up or be a member to visit?

Not always, it depends on which casino you’re visiting as some of our casinos operate an open-door policy. Casinos with an open door policy don’t require you to be a member in order to visit. Find a list of casinos with an open-door policy here. However, it is still advisable to carry an ID with you for any casino you visit to verify you’re over 18. For non open-door casinos, you will need you to register with a valid photo ID. You can also pre-register here to save yourself time! All of our casinos offer special promotions and offers exclusively for My Genting members, so registration has more benefits than you might think.

Can I use my mobile phone or take photos in the Casino?

In non-gaming areas you are permitted to use a mobile phone, whilst also respecting other customers.

Generally, taking pictures within the casino is not allowed. However if you are in the casino for a special occasion our manager may be able to allow this as an exception. Please note that this will not however be permitted next to the gaming area as photography is strictly prohibited in this area.

Want a break?

Time Out

If you want to take a short break from gambling with us, you can do so by taking a Time-Out.

Once you begin your Time-Out, you will not be able to enter any Genting site. It will not be possible to reactivate your account until your chosen period has ended.

SENSE Self Enrolment National Self Exclusion

SENSE is a free service that enables you to self-exclude from all land based Casino gambling companies licensed in Great Britain.

You will be excluded for a minimum period of 6 months.

What happens when you self-exclude? During a period of Self-Exclusion, you will not be able to use your account for betting and gambling.

We will remove you from our marketing databases, we also suggest that you remove Genting from your notifications and delete/uninstall all Genting apps and downloads as well as blocking/unfollowing Genting social media accounts.

Protecting Minors

Gambling under the age of 18 is a criminal offence. Genting takes its responsibilities to prevent access by under-18s very seriously indeed.

Is there a dress code?

Smart casual dress is fine for our casinos, but if you want to feel a bit more James Bond; Casino Royale and opt for a tux – we won’t say no!

Smart jeans and smart trainers are acceptable, however, football shirts, muscle/vest tops are not. Caps and other hats are also a no for the security and safety of all our members, as it is vital that we can see people clearly on our CCTV system.
