The much-anticipated Genting Football Cup returned for another fantastic year, bringing colleagues from across the business together for a day of excitement, team spirit and friendly competition. From the opening matches through to the knockout stages, teams gave it their all in pursuit of the trophy, with impressive performances, great goals and closely contested games creating plenty of memorable moments along the way.
After a fantastic day of football, our winners were crowned:
⚽ Football Cup Winners – Palm Beach
⚽ Football Cup Runners-up – Genting Casino London Chinatown
⚽ Plate Winners – Finance, IT & Marketing
⚽ Plate Runners-up – Stratford B
We also had some additional awards for the tournament:
✨ Male Player Of The Tournament – Denis - Palm Beach
✨ Female Player Of The Tournament – Brittany – Genting Casino Luton
✨ Goalkeeper Of The Tournament – Callum – Genting Casino Leicester
✨ Fairplay Award – Westcliff Ladies
While the football was certainly the main event, the tournament was about much more than what happened on the pitch. The day provided a great opportunity for colleagues from different clubs and departments to come together, catch up with familiar faces, make new connections and enjoy being part of one team.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part, supported their teams and helped make this year's Genting Football Cup such a success. Your energy, enthusiasm and team spirit made the day one to remember.
Well done to all the teams that competed, and a huge congratulations to our winners and runners-up.
We're already looking forward to next year's tournament and another brilliant day of football! ⚽🏆🎉
