Southend couple take to the seas thanks to casino competition
The winner of the Genting Club Westcliff ‘Holiday of a Lifetime’ competition is preparing to set off on the trip of her dreams to New England.
A regular customer at the casino, Har Chee Foong was delighted at being announced the winner, never having scooped a prize of this magnitude in a competition before.
Commenting on the win Chee said: “When I entered the competition I never thought for a minute that I might win. I was actually on holiday in Spain when I found out and I felt delighted and surprised all at the same time. Even now, when I think about it I can’t believe my luck.
“My husband and I both love cruising and winning this competition gives us the chance to tick another place off our must see list. We set sail next month so we will get to see New England in the Fall which will be beautiful – we really can’t wait!”
