Last weekend, Resorts World Birmingham transformed into a battleground of strategy, suspense, and celebration as teams from across the business gathered for the highly anticipated Annual Summer Showdown. The event brought together colleagues, friends and family for a lively day filled with teamwork, friendly competition and a strong sense of community.

This year’s headline activity was ‘The Betrayers’, a thrilling outdoor team-building experience inspired by the hit TV show ‘The Traitors’ where teams of 6-8 were challenged to outwit, outplay and outlast each other in a game of deception and deduction. The goal? Collect the most gold while uncovering the hidden betrayer among them. Guess right and the glory is yours; guess wrong and the Betrayer walks away victorious.

After a day filled with gold-hunting, unexpected twists, and standout teamwork, Genting Casino Wolverhampton emerged as the first-place winners, followed closely behind by Genting Casino Birmingham Chinatown and Genting Casino Fountain Park securing third place. Meanwhile, Genting Casino Luton impressed with their creativity and flair, earning the spotlight as this year’s best dressed team.

While the main game kept the competition fierce, the Summer Showdown was a full-blown festival of fun with highlights from the day included a sparkling glitter bar, an awesome live band, bouncy castles, face painting, delicious food, drinks and ice cream - something there for everyone to enjoy.
